The PPA-Series combines the advantages of the chemical-resisting PVDF as inner core material and UV resistant Polyamide, as the material of the outer cover. This unique combination of materials makes for a hose that works well for methanol and chemical service and is far superior to any comparable product.
PVDF with its very low permeation is the only real alternative to steel pipes.
All hoses are suited for applications up to 80°C (176°F) and working pressures up to 1,035 bar / 15, 008 psi with a safety factor of 1:4 (burst pressure: 4,140 bar / 60,030 psi).
Upon request the hoses can be supplied in long lengths (for example 6/4PPA -4500m) as they are needed for Offshore Umbilicals.
